At Fit4U, you control your data. TrackM8 lets you remove your account and all associated data directly in-app—no email required—though you can also contact us if needed.

How to Delete Your Account

  1. Open TrackM8 on your device.

  2. Tap Settings (⚙️).

  3. Scroll and select Delete My Account.

  4. (Optional) Tell us why you’re leaving to help us improve.

  5. Tap Delete Now.

Note: If you signed up with Google Sign‑In, you may also revoke app access via your Google Account for immediate effect.

What’s Deleted Immediately

When you confirm deletion, we permanently erase:

  • Account Details: Name, email, password, phone number, profile photo

  • Location Data: Live GPS logs, history, zone alerts

  • Activity Records: Shared locations, SOS alerts, device metadata

  • Temporary Tokens: Session keys, OTPs, reset links

What We Retain (and Why)

To comply with law and secure our service, we retain only:

  • Anonymized Analytics (no personal identifiers) for up to 6 months to improve features

  • Fraud‑Prevention Logs (IP/device IDs) for 30 days to detect abuse

  • Legal Records (transaction receipts, tax data) for 1 year as required

Rest assured: We never store your name, email, or raw location data in retained logs.

After Deletion

  • Access Lost: You cannot recover your account or data.

  • New Account: To use TrackM8 again, sign up afresh.

  • Shared Connections: Any contacts who once tracked you will lose access to your location.
